After having built a "couple" ARs now myself, the best tip I can give is to have ATRS build you what you want.
Why's that? Kinda takes the fun and gratification out of it having it built by someone else.
How long ago was that that TSE had the 7.5"?
Cheers
There is a certain satisfaction in building your own, but on the other hand there is a certain comfort in letting someone who maybe more knowledgeable and skilled build it for you… and with that being said, keep in mind, some people just have two left thumbs, I know I have run across a few in my time…
A certain comfort in someone else building something for you? Bah. Certain comfort in building it yourself, knowing what was done. AR's are almost like lego. Basic AR build if you take the time to read up on them is pretty easy. Just a matter of having the right tools which can make the first build a little more expensive if you add that into your budget.

Yeah… I have bought and built AR’s… I was just trying to offer an explanation… Personally I have no reservations about my LMT, which someone else obviously built, I can see why someone would feel more comfortable with a rifle like it then one that was put together in their garage… Personally, I don’t have a problem with saying someone else can do better work then I can, rifle or what have you…
What do you think DD 14.5" barrels are worth? I may have access to some but I'm not sure if they will end up being to expensive to sell.

Where are all the 18" + barrels
What is the process with registration once it's complete and built?
