Where to buy bulk 22lr for spring 2023?

Where in Canada has the best price and/or any bulk 22lr ammo for this spring? Typically my brother and I try and buy 1 golden retreiver hight worth of ammo every spring, but we are striking out for this spring. Preference goes to Federal, Aguila or Winchester ammo, but I'd almost take golden bullets at this point... Or does a guy just suck it up and pay $70+ for 500 rounds and only get half a golden retreiver worth, then at least he can still shoot a little this spring?

Looks like your place is the place to go for bulk ammo! :)

Kidding aside, just keep your eyes peeled and watch for sales. I do that, but also (2X in last 2 weeks) have gone in and simply overpaid for a few boxes of this/that in case the sales don't materialize. Spread the sting of the higher prices out a bit.

When we had a gun shop in my town, I would just approach the owner if I had a decent-sized purchase in mind I would say what I'm looking for, how much of it, and what I'm hoping to pay. (not being a goof about it, picking maybe the best price I'd seen in the previous 3 months) Seems there was some flexibility on the margins if it's a sure thing, so worth a try. Easy in/out for them if they know/trust you. Just a thought.

That was a few years before the pandemic and the gouge-a-thon we're living in now.

Tenda is my usual go to for ammo.
Just picked up a Chihuahua height of 22lr. (3250rnds Federal Auto match - 10 boxes $300 all in) during one of their flash sales.

I should add, this picture is from spring of 2020, all that ammo is long since gone!
 
Cabelas has the Federal 36gr HP 325 packs on for $35 with free shipping over $150. Its not a spectactacular price, but at 0.11/round its better that paying $70/500 for the same thing.

The free shipping offer from some of these vendors cannot be overstated, even if the original price is slightly higher. Some of the other sites listed may have it for cheaper per box, but the shipping can be high enough that any savings are negated or make even make the unit price not very attractive at all.

Tenda does currently have the Automatch for $35.00 for a box of 325 rounds

For those in the GTA and can pickup, decent deal. Otherwise Cabela's is decent for same price but lesser threshold to qualify for free shipping ($150 instead of the Tenda $300)
 
International Shooing Supplies has multiple choices of CCI, Blazer, Winchester, and Federal around $0.10-0.11 per round when buying 5000.

This is a good deal. I would contemplate the drive to get it if it weren't for the high gas prices. A 14% sale on this would definitely be compelling and would negate the shipping costs more or less. Thanks for the link and hope to see a St Patty's Day sale too. Maybe early Mothers Day sale. Hee hee

You just missed the Tenda flash sale: 3250 case of Federal Automatch for $270 plus tax.

Not sure how often they go on at this price, but it's the best price I've seen in a long time.
