Can ANYONE please tell me where I can purchase the non-restricted version of this rifle? I have been searching high and low for two weeks now.

You searched and your saying you cant find one?

If you searched, you would have read the FAQ's and applied for the EE.

You'd have clicked the links at the top of the screen that show retailers that stock the gun.

There is no need to be a #### about it. Alot of the regular distributors are out of stock on listed items these days. Let people here know what area you live in, and maybe someone might know a local dealer with the rifle you want. As far as Alberta, you could try P&D or MilArm in Edmonton, or Backcountry Sports in Red Deer. It seems everytime I stop at one of those places there is a CZ sitting on the self.
 
Wolverine had some, don't know if they still do.
Local gun stores may be able to procure some for you.
Elwood Epps would be a place to try calling.

For here, join the EE at the bottom of the forum list and post a WTB ad or wait until one comes up for sale.

If you put up your area we can direct you towards a store that might help.

I've tried a few of the places mentioned but still no luck. I live in Labrador and that doesn't make it any easier. If anyone can help drop me a line here.

Like I said try blue line they are one of our sponsord dealers on the top of the page is there link, I just check and they have one posted under their rifle section.
 
Wolverine are out of stock, and their March shipment is also sold out but they have an April shipment for which they're willing to put your name on the list. That is what they told me a week or so ago.

So call them and put your name on the list.
 
Marstar

I have heard people talking about Marstar getting a shipment of chrome lined barrel 858-2 in this spring. I called them and ask about it yesterday and they said NO and clearly stated they will not be getting any more 858's in stock, period...

Maybe Johnone can comment on 858/58 situation?
I say this because I called Marstar two weeks ago to order some ammo. When I asked about a shipping estimate, the fellow on the phone said "It's not worth buying ammo from us if it needs to be shipped. Your better off buying it locally." I don't think I'd want that fellow working for my business.

On a side note, I have bought ammo and items from them a few times in the past and this was the first time I got this odd type of response.
 
If you're buying the surplus 7.62x39 then is IS better to buy locally as the shipping cost is so high. I was quoted $50 by Wolverine so I decided to buy it from a local store. It's cheap ammo but weights a ton and paying $50 for a $200 case of ammo doesn't make sense.

Correct - I always try the local supply option first.
