Dizzy + Colt45cz75, Thanks for the input I'm starting a savings account and I'll for sure look into a Steyr as well as many other makes.
What are their average prices in Canada, New/Used? If you could guess.
Armorman, unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity to fire a 50 cal before though if there's someone on the island that has one I would LOVE to give it a whirl if they are willing to let me.
Sniper###, That goes for everything in Canada, heck a lot of books are printed in Canada and in the end they cost more here than they do in the states. That being said my lady is duel citizenship with America/Canada and her parents live in the mid west, I'm not really sure what the laws are on buying a firearm in the states and bringing it back over the border though it is a option I will for sure look in to, being a non-restricted should make it a much easier pool to swim threw as well appose to a restricted firearm. Also you mentioned needing a lot of room to fully enjoy one

that's why I live in BC, so much land out here, we're spoiled honesty.
Tomochan, Don't get me wrong I fully appreciate your option

but I am the kind of person that just sets my goals and jumps into the deep ends right away... Kinda like slowly getting into the ice cold ocean... I just run right in and worry about it once I'm there
ATR, Thanks for coming here

I'm going to continue to reach for my dreams and see where I end up, right now I'm just going try and find how much I should save up and seek what 50cal rifle would be best for me. As well as read up about buying rifles in the states and bringing them back home to Canada with me.
