Good point to consider for sure.Dovetail mounts have a tendocy to walk out. Id add a set screw in the center between the screw holes to help it lock into the dovetail.
The EGW looks well designed, the two bolts that mount it to the dovetail block combined with the contoured fit around the slide should be pretty good at resisting movement to the side.
That said, I would make sure the dovetail block is well fit and I might also consider some loctite around the dovetail block to secure it but that would depend on how much play there is between the contour of the base as it relates to the contour of the slide.
I would not be surprised if the block needs to be filled to fit and the set up only really needs some blue loctite on the 2 bolts that lock it into the dovetail block.
