Where to get slide milled for Red Dot?

Dovetail mounts have a tendocy to walk out. Id add a set screw in the center between the screw holes to help it lock into the dovetail.
Good point to consider for sure.

The EGW looks well designed, the two bolts that mount it to the dovetail block combined with the contoured fit around the slide should be pretty good at resisting movement to the side.

That said, I would make sure the dovetail block is well fit and I might also consider some loctite around the dovetail block to secure it but that would depend on how much play there is between the contour of the base as it relates to the contour of the slide.

I would not be surprised if the block needs to be filled to fit and the set up only really needs some blue loctite on the 2 bolts that lock it into the dovetail block.

check with Freedom Venture, they list some, but not Beretta, but may be able to order.
I had a couple I got in for sig and colt, I used one on my 1911 45 and it worked fine, it was a burris plate . The EGR are quite a bit heavier, but 2x the money
I used it with a Viper red dote, fast, but for bullseye shooting I don't think it was a help, I was running a 6mm and that's too large for bullseye.

If I was going to mess around with a beretta slide mill job, I would want a spare slide in stock I think
