Which 6.5 creedmoor?

Does the Bergara have one of those "press-fit" barrels? Where they heat the action up to expand it, insert the barrel, and when it cools, it forms a tight fit. No barrel changes with those. That seems to be the way a lot of European makers are barreling their guns now. I prefer screw on barrels myself. I picked Savage out of the 3 choices. They make nice , straight barrels.

No. It's a Remington 700 with a coned breech.

I like and have the tac21 mdt on a savage 10tr 308 love it with the skeleton stock

I bought a Tikka CTR 24" barrel in 6.5CM, and a friend bought the Bergara. Using five shot groups, my rifle averages under 1/2moa with both loads that I tested, I had to try seven different bullet/powder combinations to achieve 1/2moa with the Bergara. The Bergara is very fussy, and it copper fouled badly,l while the CTR produces minimum fouling.

ESS is a solid choice! I've got my 700 in one and it great, when my Bighorn TL3 build is done it will be taking its place in the ESS and I will need to get another MDT chassis.

I bought my son a Remington 700 barrelled action with rail and threaded for a brake. It cost $700. Put an MDT stock under it and shoots a minute at 900 m.
