Which Beretta handgun would you recommend?

My current favourites are a 96A1 with an M9 top and wood grips, and a short barrel ( legal length) model 71 .22.

The 96A1 is built for 40 S&W so is able to handle any possible 9mm load, and the little 71 is just great fun to shoot.

The black Beretta with wood grips looks much like the ones issued to US generals as personal weapons.

I was very tempted by the 92A3 (I even like the original colours) but I had an opportunity to pick up this 92F at a price I couldn't say no to. I must admit I do like the classic looks of the 92 series.

Don't own a Beretta but I thought I read that it's easier to change out sights on a 92a1 compared to 92f series. Just throwing that out in case it's a consideration for TS.

The rear is the same but you can't change out the front sight without a bunch of machining on the 92fs.

I own a Beretta rebarrelled model 70, and a Beretta 90-two. The 90-two is great because you could get the slim grips for them. Next year I will pick up the Beretta APX. I need a polymer 9mm. This one should fit the bill nicely.

I bought a PX4 45 ACP SD in the Pelican case, i have to admit it is my best handgun next to my Korth Combat 5.25, i did not used my 92 for a while now

Beretta 92FS. If an accessory rail is necessary then Model 92A1.

There are a lot of after market parts available for customisation.

Beretta APX is a reliable polymer pistol. Reminds me of a Glock with ribs.
