Which Beretta handgun would you recommend?

I have two 92A1's with the G Conversion kit installed. Great pistols the 92 Series. Any iteration is going to serve you well. I bought a Girsan Compact which is nice, well made and a bit more affordable. The 92 M9A1 Compact, I think I have the description right, in stainless is my IDPA CCP gun and is a great little shooter as well.

If I had a chance at a 92FS at a reasonable price with funds in my gun account I would be all over it like a dirty shirt. To date the right deal always comes along the day after I emptied my gun account on another blaster.

I use my 92A1 when I am teaching. Dead nuts reliable and I do like the hammer DA/SA pistols.

Take Care

The Girsan version is definitely worth a look to try out the platform. Half the price used on the ee, and the quality is really something also. I love mine. It’s a lot smoother than my SP-01 Shadow, and I hate to say that.

I'll be honest, this decision just gets harder over time. Since I made this post my application got sent off so I'm getting even closer to the choice. I was in contact with a retailer and am able to reserve a M9A3 and have it shipped to me when my license comes. It's just difficult to justify a $1627 tag on my first handgun. I'll have to keep working with the options and hopefully make the right choice.
