I am curious for more then a few reasons. I understand the concept of don't worry about it and enjoy your guns, that said I am a gun collector.
For example I collect brand x, they are currently non restricted. I have 7 of them and they are worth approx. $21,000. The high dollar value is based on rarity and the fact they are non restricted. If they get reclassified to Restricted their value will drop to approx. $11,000.00. If they end up prohibited maybe $6000.00 then eventually nothing.
Personally I would like to get ahead of a prohibition. I may be a odd duck out as I noticed people were bidding up CZ's to join the proposed prohib club. Thats not a club I want to be invested heavily in ;O)
That would be awesome, Id even help melting them.

OP: yeah lets make a wish list of guns we hope they won't ban so the goverment workers paid with our taxes to be on this website have and even easier job.
Their goal is no gun at all, period. And they'll do it in a "death by a 1000 cuts" method. Instead of asking which one is next on the chopping block, why not ask "what else can we do to rock their boat and make them leave us alone"
Self Loading Rifle sounds better than semi-automatic.
My rifles are safe, they identify as pillows and it hurts their feelings if you say they are scary or dangerous.
Last couple of weeks it was all about how c-71 was going to completely screw us all, but turned out to be pretty tame...
Don't waste your time trying to second guess what's coming next. Buy what you want, enjoy what you have. If anybody could tell you what's getting banned next, ask them for next weeks lottery numbers while you're at it.
