I would like to upgrade my Daniel Defense MK18 (10.3" barrel) to a Geissele trigger but am having trouble deciding which one. Given that it's a shorter barrel AR15 more suitable for CQB I was thinking the SSA-E may not be the best choice since it's good for long range precision. But now I'm wondering if it would improve the shorter barrel's accuracy at longer range -- making it more versatile. I've read the SSA, which is a little heavier and breaks not as crisp as the SSA-E, is an excellent all around trigger. Lastly the S3G resembles more of a single stage trigger and is better for speed rather than accuracy -- which sounds like it may be more fun but I do want a degree of accuracy too. Then there is a "straight bow" version of all 3 of these triggers which makes the pull feel lighter.
Please keep in mind that I have an Eotech red dot sight paired with an Eotech 3X magnifier and I'm not an experienced shooter.
Can anyone weigh in on a good fit for my setup?
