Which Milsurp still eludes your collection?

Is it weird that I've had an AG42B, Hakim, Rasheed, vz52/57, and Mas36 for years but only got a K98 last month???

What I really need is a Springfeild 1903, Winchester 1897 and Model 12 Trench guns. EVEN REPOS WOULD DO!!!

K31 swiss would be ok too....missed the boat on those. Didn't know I wanted one till they doubled in price.

I sold my milsurp collection a few years back, regretted it ever since but never bothered with them until last week when I bought a Longbranch No4 Mk1 from a fellow gunnut, I'm hooked again and can't decide which one to get next... Well I did, my old collection never had a French WW1 rifle, well I just bought one off the EE yesterday!!!

Good for you!!! Welcome to the club ;) You will come to find the French arms are greatly underappreciated.

Their MAS 49 - 49/56 series of rifles is superb. Now that's a self loader I would never hesitate to take into combat. Reliable, lightweight, durable and built like a tank.

Just getting into the milsurp/antique side of firearms, so my number one priority is a LongBranch Lee-Enfield, non-sporterized. My other wants are more antiques, a functional 1820 Brownbess, and a Colt SAA

What I think I need seems to change regularly. Right now I am craving a FR8 Spanish Mauser. I like the idea of relatively inexpensive and available ammunition (7.62 Nato/.308 Winchester). I am also somewhat fascinated by a Mosin Nagant sniper. I am booked an a family holiday that conflicts with the Calgary gun show so my cravings will probably go unfulfilled.
