Easy as this: If you don't like NEA, don't buy one. This isn't rocket science! If you feel a Stag or Core, or LMT, or RRA, or whatever other brand is better, then buy one of them.
I for one will be buying an NEA-15 18" Enhanced DMR when they get released. Wont be for a few months yet, but that is fine, as it is too cold to go shooting in winter here anyways.
I want to encourage Canadian manufacturing.
Also, as I have been reading a lot of the threads regarding NEA QC and well as NEA in general, I have yet to see the poster NEA do anything in my opinion to bring such hate towards him and his product. So there might have been some issues with a first run product!
You think GM or Ford, or Colt or whoever put out a perfect product the first time they made something? Hell, most of them screw up all the time. But the key thing about this all is the desire to FIX WHAT WENT WRONG! Car manufactures do it all the time with recalls, and upgrades and the like, and their warranty is only 5 years at best on the total unit! NEA drops a LIFETIME warranty on their entire product and people complain about QC issues?
Let your money talk. If you don't like NEA, don't support them. If they are still making firearms in 5 or 10 years, I guess that closes the book on their quality issues, doesn't it?
To the OP, sorry for the hi-jack. I vote anything, so long as we get more ARs out there in the hands of honest, hard-working Canadians.
