Which Revolver do you perfer and why?

Back in the early 80's, one of the now defunct 1911 manufacturers, Safari Arms, I think, made a limited run of Beryllium framed guns. It certainly appealed to me then.

That is good advise and it is great to start out a spouse, friend, or child shooting with a 22 revolver them move them up.
 
My first revolver was a S&W Model 17, 6" target hammer/trigger. I have never regretted that choice nor do I regret having bought its companion Model 19, same equipped. Many new shooters have taken their first handgun shots with the 17, it is the only handgun my wife and daughters will shoot. I bought the 19 before the intro of the L frame and if I was a full load enthusiast I would lean towards the 586.
