LMAO - I realize that the two are very different. I have shouldered the TC and like how it felt including weight - I know nothing other than propaganda about the cartridge.
Before the TC I had borrowed a Browning Micro for a hunt down east, grant it, not chambered in .270, but I was impressed with it on numerous levels.
I am an open minded individual and this purchase is an excuse to spend a gift certificate.
Imput is appreciated so far!!
Nothing revolutioonary about the .30TC....it's basically a .30-06 in a short action. I've got one and love it....mostly because it's new and I'm one of the few nerds on here with one but that said....it's damn accurate and a very capable round for all North American game. The one hitch is ammo availability but at least Hornady loads it and offers it with a good bullet. Nothing wrong with any of the other calibre selections but sometimes it's fun to just own something that few others do. From a guy that owns and shoots a .30TC Icon, I give it high marks all round....even though it's new and Jim shoots one!
