Which way to screw off a AR flash hider?

You may need to heave on it quite a bit. ... and it may be locktited.
 
Do you have a 14.5" or shorter barrel? Some of these leave the U.S. factories with the flashhiders permanently attached.

Not true, the ones we get are not subject to AWB restrictions, I doubt anyone would try bringing in AR's with factory pinned/welded FH's.

Heat can help...Dump a few mags through it quickly and then twist that sucker off. Works for me. The last one I had wouldn't come off for love nor money when it was cold... Expect to get some strange looks at the range when you do it though.:D
