Whitetail deer dummied by .416 Rigby

Point of order...the 416 is a medium bore.

The 375's and 416's are nice medium bores. I am taking my 458 Lott to deer camp tomorrow. A couple friends would love to shoot it. With the right loads it should work well. The A frame shouldn't wreck any meat as long as I do my job. Might take my 416 as well so they can try it.

whatever you do dont flench and shoot too high. Everyone will say you are stupid

I have made some brilliant shots, and some that I wish I had back . If you hunt long enough things can go wrong.

I try and enjoy every experience as one never knows what will be his last hunt.

They are jealous

Between using the term "dummied", wanting to intentionally take 2 deer with one shot, pathetic marksmanship, and your failure to understand the comments here, the quote below is a huge understatement.

Title of thread should read Dummy takes whitetail deer

The majority of hunters would keep this to themselves, but here you are videoing this stupidity and bragging about it.

What a joke.

I will however heed the CGN advice and not use my Rigby. I will use a normal gun like my M1 Carbine. That way nobody should get upset that there was some meat damage.

Using a different gun will not make up for your lack of shooting skills.

Keep digging that hole deeper, you may just be a candidate for most ridiculous and stupid thread of 2020....

I don't understand why someone posts something that is sure to get more negative than positive feedback and then gets offended and defensive when it goes south. Not wanting to stir the pot but, I think all the negative reactions to the op are warranted in this case. The term "dummied" shows a total lack of respect for the animal imo.

You know exactly why, the OP has been here long enough to know what his post would do for reactions.

There is words for such behavior.
