In an earlier post I'd mentioned that the deer had seen my tree stand and were staring right at it. The reason I got caught by them is that I set it up according to what I seen them do last fall but is opposite this spring. Let me clarify. Last year in the hunt I sat at the pond head and watched several till I took one. 90% of the movement was morning, but morning or evening they were ALWAYS moving east to west. Thats why I picked a west facing slope for the stand, thinking they'll blow right by. So I build stand, put up trail cam and flipo presto a 180 degree change. AM or PM their moving west to east now. Now I understand how they move out for winter to yards but whats this spring to fall? Do they switch back? Why? If they do will some not notice my stand then? Any thoughts
