I swapped out the factory stock for an aftermarket one - prefer the comb of the replacement stock, and the factory stock had a slight rattle to it I didn't like. Then went a bit overboard with the BBQ paint. The pic is from right after the pain job. It's a bit more "worn in" now and darkened up a bit.
I've had it a couple years now, used it in 3-gun matches where we're limited to target loads (for safety reasons), run a few thousand rounds through it of everything from light target, heavy game, OO Buck, HV Slugs, and it's just eaten everything I've thrown at it.
Very, very happy with it.
I will say that not everyone I've talked to has had the same luck, so YMMV, but in general, the majority of people who get them seem to be happy with them and have had a good experience.
For 3-gun, the biggest drawback is - as mentioned - the gate when you're loading. That weird two-part gate/lock takes a bit of getting used to.
