I am a neanderthal when it comes to computers and can't figure out how to measure groups from a picture. I have seen guys do it before both here and on the hide.

I was out shooting today and think I may have a 500 yard sub moa 10 shot group here (or just over). Shot this practicing with the BCRA for the know your limits stage, 90 seconds, ten rounds at a Fig 14.

The 8 rounds that are on paper measure less than 4.5" all in but there are two more on the target board. The round off his left ear looks like its in but I am not sure about the one at 2 O'clock just off the paper (in black helmet of target underneath).

I am guessing the group is 5.5 inches wide. Moa is 1.047 X5 = 5.235 + .308 is 5.543 sooo.... maybe, but i need it checked with a computer program. Bullet diameter is .308

Can anyone measure that up?

Is there a smartphone app that can do that?

*edited to add

Found a few apps for free. I will try them out.

I downloaded On Target and can now measure pictures. I still have to figure out how to make the text bigger.

Nice shooting! I really need to work on my 100m game. Totally tanked every match at 100m yesterday, but got 100 pts on a 600m cb tho.

I pull ups and downs as well, I'll do very good at some stages and tank on others. Hope you had fun at the match. I went on a climb, the mountain fogged in solid, there was a rock fall and I caught one in the shin haha.

yeah man, match was good times. Highlight of sunday was the optional steel match, my partner and I ended up clearing the stage I hit 6/10 of em too. Pretty satisfying hitting steel at distance and watching it impact then drop. Damn man, how big were the rocks?

The hit was not bad, just a small gash on the leg. I knew I should have gone shooting instead!
