Who has the coolest SKS. Post pics.

There is a countersunk screw at the upper rear of the hg that goes down into an alum block thats attached to the rsb. Take off the hg and all is normal.

Apparently the coolest sks around, as far as I've seen, is worth 1600 bucks, and all you have to do is go to the EE to see it. WOW!!!!!

That's an awesome SKS though...how many of those are in your collection, or did you see at your LGS last visit?

And can you explain what's going on with the gas block I that one? Looks square like a 1949 one but it also appears to have a gas adjustment screw kinda like an SVT40??

Used chinese 19" barrel "Reborn" Sks w/ AK slant brake that I got for $200
Put a new Tapco timbersmith stock, trigger job and new springs. Hopes this will make it more consistent as well with the red dot scope and mount. If this doesn't do, I'll reput the williams peep and Tapco target front post.

When I got it, it shot from 6-8 MOA, hoping for half that with these upgrades. Range report pending, soon!

53'Tula matching, cut to 19" crowned and blued at home, drop free bolt, and Tapco/magpul furniture
shot consistent 5-6" groups and then for some reason I sold her. why..why?

Bought this one some time ago locally for $100. The barrel was chopped at 16.5" at 70° and no crown. The previous owner had also camo painted the stock and added a large black skull to both sides. ::)

I fixed the muzzle, added a d&t Capco mount holding a Nikon Pro Staff, made a handguard that covers the RSB, a solid ebony cheek riser, and an ebony butt extension.

Due to not having access to the stripper clip guides on the carrier, the fixed 10 rounder was made "drop free" or "detachable" via removal of the retaining collar and spot welding the swing portion of the mag in place. Topped it off with my custom made Talon extended mag release and the system works great.

Thats ironic...I'm considering doing a similiar bubba. Didv they actually chop it or just remove the muzzle assembly? And what sort of groups do you get? Also how do u like that mount, compared to a Choate?

Guess it shoots about the same as any other scoped sks. Plenty accurate but nothing worth bragging about. Guessing very consistent baseball size groups at 100 yards. The mount is a Capco and not a 'Tapco'. Very hard if not impossible to find in the US. The Choate should do just as well though... good luck with your build!

Coolest SKS I've seen is this one. Obviously this is down in USA with the drop-in bullpup stock. Nevertheless, amazing!

The original visible trigger in the butt of the stock is a nice touch.
