Who is buying a Type81?

I don't even know what you are talking about anymore...mayors betting on the super bowl? You know we live in Canada right and have our own football league?
You decide what they are worth...PO Box, no staff, very minimal product offerings, next to no stock.

Of cos you don't know what I'm talking about when it comes to you parting with your money. Lol.

I'm willing to speculate that the shipment won't be seize so all your assumptions are for nothing but fearmongering. You choose the amount.

I have zero desire to see these seized. I just have a bad feeling about the timing related to a recent US event, and our current band of political idiots in power.

The Libs have already stated they will introduce legislation by end of this year. That does not mean a passed law - that takes at least 6 months and the conservatives will obstruct any odious legislation in committee to drag that out.

CBSA really can't block these if they are compliant. And if the libs do something dumb, like ban all semi-autos, or make them all restricted - good luck staying in power. Maybe a third of their voters have a Remington 742 or plinker SKS in their closet - the fuds will drop them like a hot potato once the target is no longer just handguns and AR15s.

All I know is their reactionary policies can't succeed long. Air travel rights were good but no good can come from their legislation, they have a history of neglecting and twisting facts to forge incriminating stats on Canadians. Notice they never use stats that explicitly state firearm used in the commision of a crime; therefore including suicide, storage and minor paper crimes and neglectful/accidental discharges to pad their agenda

Different colored wood allowed the RCMP to reclassify and seize Wolverines 858's just last year. Guess what these are coming with... different colored wood.
It's far easier for them to seize them at port for whatever BS reason they can come up with then after when they get to owners.
Vegas, and how useless Trudeau is seen today, will give them some serious motivation to do anything to appear like competent government.
But again, really hope this doesn't happen as a fixed stock version is looking very appealing these days.

I guess we will find out in a few days what happens with these
Hopefully in a few weeks they are in our hands and not in a melting pot

And different markings, different shape, and different model name etched on them. Not the same.

No, a different branding of model on the same converted auto receiver allowed them to classify that import as prohibited.

When the OIC reclassifying specific models of converted auto from prohibited to NR or R, you don't change the name to fit outside that legislation.

Yeah, the name change wasn't a good idea. Probably importing any more wasn't a good idea...
I just think any change at all, in this case different wood, could lead to problems...

My plans are to buy the rifle with the folding stock once there in the country and have proven to be decent rifles for the money.... until then, we all wait, very very patiently....
They are sold out in folding stock. EE doubles in price or waiting till next shipment which is god knows when is your options
