Who is Using a 28 Gauge, This 2025-26 Hunting Season and Now 2026-27 Season

Ive got several 28 gauges that I absolutely love. A few Browning O/U, a few Win Mod 12, a Rem 1100 and and Rem 870, a Win Mod 23, a Benelli Sporting and a little sweetheart Ithaca M37 recently acquired from a generous and understanding gentleman on CGN…who was sympathetic to my needs and addictions in 28g shotguns having beautiful wood.

All these 28g shotguns are a little bit different…in the way they mount, swing and bust clays and drop birds. The Ithaca 37 is in a league of its own. It can maneuver with the best of birds. I bought an assortment of Brilley extended chokes for it. Protects the thin muzzle, easy in and outs without a choke wrench and options for close in birds to way out there. Not to be underestimated, some of my 28g think they are 12g but in a ‘lively’ little package that is a joy carry.
Yes the Ithaca Model 37 28 gauge are nice guns.I have one,but have used it little of late years.:)
