who loves Remington Model7?

This thing looks incredible, more details? who did the work? shaved the handle fluted the bolt. slabbed action? finished weight etc?
Thanks!
I was recently informed about more of the history of this gun.
I bought it from a nice guy from the BC interior off the EE. Turnkey deal with dies, brass, loaded bullets and all.
It has a 24" lother walther barrel, a McMillan edge, the barrel was installed by Mick McPhee, who has since passed on. The stabbing/ fluting metal work, finishing and paint was finished by his partner at the time Mitch Kendall.
It's chambered in 7rsaum. I shoot 140 ttsx and RL 17. It's a great piece. Weighs 6lbs 10 oz empty with a vx2 4-12 in talleys.

I enjoy my Rem 7. It's a .223 LS. shoots nice with a scope but that isn't what I wanted it for. I finally got the factory open sights gathered up for it. Bought it used, with scope only. Compact tractor, wheeler, snowshoeing rifle is how I see the little gun.

Thanks!
As much as I know is this. I bought it from a nice guy from the BC interior off the EE. Turnkey deal with dies, brass, loaded bullets and all.

I shoot 140 ttsx and RL 17. I would assume Mick slabbed, fluted and skeletonized the action but can't confirm. It's a great piece. Weighs 6lbs 10 oz empty with a vx2 4-12 in talleys.

wow. Not knowing what you paid: I think you still got a good deal, cool rig.

Sounds like a nice rig.

I am probably going to wrestle with getting the predator version in .243, if the caliber restrictions in NB are lifted this spring, not that it will do anything my current one with a takeoff 700 sporter 7mm-08 barrel other than be a little easier on hides.

This is my main rifle (other than moose, I have a 9.3 for those...)

Mitch Kendall build: Rem 7 284 Win, Apex 22" brl, receiver flats done, bolt fluted + handle skeletonized, Atlas Worx bottom metal, Wildcat stock, Trigger Tech trigger, Talleys and a Leupold V2 3x9x40 LR recticle - changed out at Korth, 5.7lbs with the scope, of course its a quarter moa shooter - currently 140gr TTSX, just under 3000fps with a max H4350 load. Its my favourite rifle, easy on the shoulders to carry and a laser .... (purchased from a kewl CGN member but not advertised)
