Who makes the best .17 HMR?

I have an Anschutz 1717 with a VX-111 6.5-20x40 that is probably the most accurate rifle I have ever shot out to 150 yds. Whoever is shooting this rifle at our P&D staff shoot usually wins the informal rimfire competition. I likely would never have spent that much on a new gun/scope combo but it was buy back from a customer and I aquired it for a decent price. The factory test target is one ragged hole...10 shots...100 yds. Phil.

I like the way my Savage turned out, but if I was starting from scratch all over again, I'd probably go CZ 455.

I've had 2 dolled-up Savage HMRs, and one bone-stock CZ 452 Varmint. They're all gone now, but the only one I still wished I had was the CZ. Most accurate rimfire I've ever owned, without exception. Showed a VERY strong preference for 20gr. bullets, as much as I tried to persuade it to eat the 17s.
