Whats the legality of having the powder and the primers in the building in regards to your lease?

Iam moving out of my friends place (he was good with me reloading) and in with the gf into a basement suit in the city.

One of the items on the lease is this.

"14-24 Offensive Goods: No combustible or offensive goods, provisions or materials shall be kept on the premises. No usage or trafficking of illegal drugs is allowed on the premises, which will cause termination of lease and eviction of Tenant."

I was just going to store my firearms legally and out of sight. Nothing on the lease, nothing he can do. Ammo, power and primers looks like it could be a sticking point if he had an issue though.

Thoughts? This is my first lease type situation, before this I've always lived with friends and or family.

Cheers,

Karl

ps Iam still using my lee hand press. Works. Little slow, but I don't mind. And i just picked up a lee loader for loading my 30-30. Space is not an issue. Can sit at the kitchen table or on the couch with a tv table. :p

I think i'd like to end up with that Hornady LNL AP. Why didn't you use the RCBS lockout instead of the Dillion powder check?

The lockout die will only work on pistol reloading from what I have read. Also I would rather hear a buzzer when I mess up than having the whole press lock up.

If your thinking about the LNL Frontier Firearms has them on sale and you get a free shell plate. I was actually going to buy a dillon until I saw this deal.

Similar to Fogducker's set up, here's one that came from TheHighRoad, and I found on Reddit's reloading sub.

been working on my reloading setup, since I live in apartment I was reminded of this thread.
i'm happy to finaly have something I can come and go to and work at my leasure, up until now i've kept all my stuff in a bin and my press mounted to a 2x4 that gets hauled out and clamped to the dining room table.

Hair spray is combustable along with a lot of other stuff we normally have in aerosol cans.

x2. It's a stupid clause in the lease agreement. Obviously he was thinking the obvious, noxious stuff like loading your apartment full of jerry cans, but he didn't think the clause fully through. Newspapers are combustible...

Lighter fluid is also , matches. Tons of things will go up in flames. Hell even dust will blow up. Many a grain elevator have exploded when they are full of dust.

Be sure to check your home insurance policy too. we discovered our house insurance would be null and void with reloading equipment... we ended up making a different arrangement.
