Who wants a non-restricted Beretta CX4 Storm?

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D

That is Very Cool!!! I'm thinkin I will be putting one on the "To-Buy" list. Right underneath the Valtro 12ga

How can it be Non-Restricted? It looks just like those Evil AR-15's! Can this similar rifle be trusted by it's self around my children?

Why are people still arguing the 10rnd Mag issue? It was solved on page 3 lol.

I will be waiting for .45ACP availability though. Why go 9mm when you could go .45acp? Don't say Price lol You can't use cheap ammunition as justification after you've spent over $1000 on the rifle. Speaking of which, I didn't see a Post with the Total! So Come on guys, Spit it out! Those of you who have bought these mosters, How much did it cost you all said and done?

What would the accuracy be like with .45 and a legal length barrel? Would it be suitable for varmit/deer hunting? 1moa @ 100yds? I Guess I might have to wait and ask someone who's got one =-D

For a new CX4 Storm I believe they are $950+taxes (best deal) but no one seems to have any instock (9x19 version anyway).

The re-registration is $25

The New barrel from Ellwood Epps is $500.00

The only thing the Storm comes with is one side rail as well :? so the extras quickly add up.

BUT!

There is nothing that can compare to it if you want a Non-Restricted 10 round Semi-Auto "Black" rifle that shoots cheap, easily available ammo :)

Of course being a totally ambidextrous rifle and using the same mags for the popular Beretta 92-series pistol is also a very nice feature.

BTW I just got an email from Beretta asking if they'd ever make a Canadian version (19" barrel) and the reply I got was as follows:

Hello:
At this time we have not heard of plans for a longer barrel but we will pass this suggestion on to our marketing department.
Thank you for contacting Beretta Customer Support.

Ellwood Epps in Orillia has been converting the CX Storm to non-restricted for some time now. They may be willing to sell the barrels that they use.
Don't forget you'll need a special tool to remove the old barrel and install the new one. I had a tool made, but the two teeth striped right off when trying to remove the barrel nut :(
