Whatever..it's a modern Marlin, not some collectors piece. Proabbly had the same non descript wood and non descript bluing that most factory rifles have these days..Wy no paint it?

I just bought a Older Marlin 1984 in 357/38, I'll be using for ranges, camping and wildlife protection. All I was planning on doing is put a set of XS sights on it.
