Wholesale Sports has no 9mm ammunition in Saskatoon

I just recently went to Wholesale sports in Saskatoon as I was in the area. I have just recently received my RPAL and was wanting to buy some 9mm ammunition. I asked the staff member at the gun counter what kind of 9mm ammunition they had.
The staff members answer was, "we don't have any, it is supposed to be in that shelf if we have any, then he walks away and that was it.
From this experience Wholesale sports in Saskatoon will very likely never get my business again. Two fold, lousy customer service and no ammunition in stock.
There are too many great sponsors on this forum to even consider going there again.

Cabela's is moving into Saskatoon, Not sure what they would be like but I am fairly certain it would be same #### different pile.
I couldn't even find appropriate cleaning supplies for my Future Gen 4 Glock 17
at Wholesale sports in Saskatoon.

I have also noticed horrible service from wholesale sports but in Winnipeg, I will only give them my money if Cabelas doesnt have it or any site sponsers Id rather pay the shipping.

All the busy shops, CGN sponsors included, run out of ammo in various calibers form time to time. It's an unfortunate consequence of all of the ammo being sold in Canada having to be imported form somewhere else.

As for the dink that served you, or more specifically didn't serve you; well... there's no excuse for that. The smarmy little prick should be fired.

I couldnt find any in Regina on Monday either. It kinda sucked as that was one of the reasons I went there!

What was the smarmy little prick supposed to do? Go to the reloading shelf and whip some up? He knew they were out, told the op they were out, and if they weren't out they would be on the shelf!!! Kind of makes sense to me? They were out of 9mm and op didn't get his way, stuff happens. I rarely find what I am looking for if I just go looking which is why i have a phone and an internet connection.

I would like to close this thread, venting is not always a good idea on a forum.
I don't want to ruin a good thing. Shooting sports are something I very much support, ignorant comments are something I don't want to encourage or participate in. I apologize for venting possibly innappropriately and fanning flames.

Just contact one of the sponsors on CGN. Wolverine and P&D are two I've always had nothing but great experiences with (especially when it comes to ammunition).

Opposite for me, I went to cabelas and they never seem to have what I need and some of the staff are less then helpful (although most are).

I started going to wholesale and found their staff was really good to deal with and they always seemed to have what I needed with no excuses. Cabela's always blamed the lack of certain calibers on the current war but wholesale always had tons in stock.

I go to both but now I usually stop at wholesale first.

Not really surprised at this news. Wholesale in Edmonton is out of stock quite often. One of the employees said something about they might as well shut down if they don't get more stock soon. Just wait for a bit and they should get it back in stock again sometime in the next 1-6 months!

One wholesale that I found was pretty good though was the Calgary Wholesale. Good staff and lots of stock.
