Wholesale Sports Messed up!!!

I should have said that in certain circumstances they make exceptions to the no return policy to allow the return of firearms.

I think the original poster has a legitmate complaint and I would be surprised if WSS did not allow for the return of the firearm and a full refund.

I've seen it done once. Good luck!

Unless you bought a pair of Danners from them that started to leak after four months of wear. Then you're SOL.

wow, after 4 months of wear, that would a manufacturer issue. If I remember correctly doesn't Danner have a yearor lifetime warranty?

What do you mean SOL?

well I called back, they told me they would call me the next day, after a week i called them, "Oh ya we were going to get to you..." sorry i guess your outta luck, and that I would have to call browning about those fetures ( I guess that thats not in their customer service)its not their fault they advertise the gun with fibre optics and mag release and not on it, and because i never fired or cleaned the gun they would return it but not cover all the shipping, honestly I didnt feel thay cared for my business, so i ordered one from Lebaron, I am retty sure i will never buy a gun form them again, and I would tell a friend to stay away as well,

Lebaron is worse then WS for service.......good luck!

I have had some poor service from the Wholesale Sports mail order department, ( lost my order, didn't return calls) but service on my most recent firearm purchase was very very positive.
I bought a new Browning T-bolt .22 rifle last spring. After using it for a month, and maybe 300 round fired, the "gold" plating on the plastic trigger started flaking off. I went to see the manager of the Saskatoon store, Mr. Derald Dixon in person. He listened politely to my concern, and I explained I didn't expect such shoddy quality from a Browning and asked what could be done. I said I really did not want to own the rifle any more. He personally authorized a full refund, in cash. I was very impressed. Wholesale sports had no legal obligation to refund my money, he could have just referred me to Browning's warranty department. On top of that, he gave me some tips and contacts about some good varmint hunting spots. The personal care care and attention I received turned a bad experience into a very positive one. My advice, get to know your vendors personally, and talk to them!

I am sure WSS has a disclaimer about mistakes in the catalogue. They arent' obligated to replace the shotgun wiht a higher grade one for the same price.

Good luck... I tried ordering a Leupod scope from them online that was on sale. Place the order and then got a call the next day saying they were sold out. I asked the lady I was talking to if they would be willing to sell the same model scope in a different color at the same price. She refered me to her manager since she couldn't make that decision. He told me it wasn't his fault that they hadn't updated their website and had been sold out for over 2 weeks and hung up. He was rude and short with me after I explained what happened. I wont be shopping there again.

Well Saskatoon is good! He has helped me out too. The problem is Calgary! They will not let any of the other stores do their own ordering. From what I hear they order stuff and rather than getting what they ordered, Calgary sends them what they think they should have.
