Wholesale sports sale

It's greasy for WS. Screw the customer. The liquidator does not care it's easy for them get a commissionfor less work.

You are missing the concept of a liquidation, the idea is to get rid of the merchandise as quickly as possible for the best possible price. You can't expect them to hold onto anything on the off chance that there might be something in the store that you might want at some point. They have an interested party willing to pay a price for a bunch of merch thats acceptable to them, move the merchandise would be the right call. Not screwing anybody. They haven't "cost" anybody a nickel, you are out nothing. You just didn't get to buy something for less than retail that you might have been able to if you had been a little quicker. You weren't screwed, you were slow.

Wholesale Sports is locking the doors for good in 8 days so they need to liquid all their product ASAP and whether that is through sales to individual customers or bulk sales to dealers it is what it is.......
I for one am sad to see WSS go under but it was not really a surprise considering the market these days and how they performed in it.

Saskatoon is bringing in hundreds of guns from all other locations because people here keep buying. When it hit 35-40% pretty much everyone was buying at least 2 guns. Yesterday when I was here all of 5 rifles on the rack with a big sign saying 300 more are coming.

I'm hearing that the retailers we hear about buying dozens or hundreds of guns, that inventory is coming out of the 300 they have coming in, leaving very few for walk in customers.

All mags are now 70% off....picked up 3 Beretta JM96 for $30 each. Pretty good deal if you can find stock. I think they might have gotten more stuff in .....the store looks fuller. Crazy amount of folks showed up this morning.

All firearms and ammo are now 45% off

Almost nothing left at Edmonton north as of this morning. 1 savage rifle and 1 shotgun... That's it for firearms. Zero rimfire ammo. Random centrefire but no common calibers. A few odd expensive shotgun shells.

Crazy amount of people there today as they brought the 300 or so in. Bought 3 CDLs as future trade-bait or gifts, another member here got 3 Remingtons, another friend had at least 6 on his pile when I got bored and left. Although I'm not certain I believe many are waiting on cheap Savages that have a mail in rebate that will reduce the final total to 150 or so. At least that what I gathered from people talking.

Gonna head back in the morning to see what is left. I was there when the first Remington's hit the floor, waited an hour and a half for the next brand to hit the floor, but I hadn't eaten at all and I could wait no longer, so I headed home.

Got back and everything had made it to the floor already. Someone scooped my 7mmRem Vanguard RC.....sums uv beetchis!

Not sure about the bow discount now. There is basically nothing left but odds and ends at the Saskatoon store now. Went this morning to see if any of the 300+ guns that showed yesterday made it through the night. Big ol' negative on that.
