Who's going to Simpsons on the 19th?

If anyone here is going tommorow, could you do me a favour and post how much Lot 203, the Webley & Scott auto, goes for. I put known an absentee bid and they won't be letting me know if I won until next week. I figure if it sells for under my limit I know I got it! Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time.

Prices on the trials rifles are going to be crazy. There will be several heavy bidders.

I placed a adsentee bid on lot 506.Can somebody tell me what it goes for tomorrow?

Thanks for the heads up on 506.Looks like I never won that one LOL
If that one got over a 1000.The trials rifles will be out of sight!

Anyone catch how much lot 203, the Webley auto, went for? I need to know how much money I have left for my Cabelas discount event this weekend!

Big crowd;many with deep pockets; hard to believe we're in tough economic time. Some folks picked up a few rare collectable Enfields. Lot 513 1933 Trials $6000 ; Lot 514 1924 Trails $1600 very rough IMO ; Lot 515 1930 Trails converted to No1MKVI $13000 and lastly Lot 516 P13 very nice condition...nicest I've seen...$12500. Add 10% plus 13% HST. Always a market for quality Enfields.

Just a few I was interested in...came home empty handed.

Amazing isn't it? Seems like no matter how screwed everything is somebody has the bucks to get the good stuff. I would have liked to see the p13 & trials rifles with my own eyes though.

Gasp, wheeze, cough....Ya gotta be kidding!!!!
"Hold on Elizabeth, I'ze a cummin to meet ya!!!"

No kidding Warren ..

When you add the 10% buyers fee on top of those prices, plus 13% HST taxes compounded if applicable, it's even worse ...

I think I'm now at the age where it's time to start selling off our collection when the long gun registry is abolished, whenever that is.

Sold prices … a Pattern 1913 experimental and some selected rarer Enfield pieces with pics (click here)http://www.milsurps.com/showthread.php?t=34666

Regards,
Doug
