Who's Hunting Turkey this Spring?

Wow, rifle on a turkey would mean many more accidents in Ontario. As it is, it's very scary being out there. Private land doesn't even protect you as there are many morons trespassing. I still go out and usually get my birds, each year though more and more hunters out there and it only takes a few Ontario morons to ruin it for everyone. Kind of reminds me why I stopped fishing the Lake O tribs.

Bukee I agree 100%. The largest issue I run into is ignorant trespassors (and any trespassor is an ignorant SOB)......and I am starting to not be so polite especially when they reck my hunt. I especially like the ones that insist they have permission on the farm but do not know the farmer, or where he lives or all of a sudden cannot speak english.

I am ready for the upcoming season - have visted all my properities, and my calls are conditioned. I just need to pack my vest and throw a few down the pipe to make sure I am patterning OK and my scope is still zero'ed.

I'll be out. Private land. Maybe I'll get up before noon. Pancakes make it hard to get into the field any earlier.

i know, and by the time we get out there it's only like an hour till lunch, then it's too hotto do anything but drink lay around and drink beer till supper. only gives about an hour a day.still, thats more then enough to limit out.

Just to clarify - No Rifles in Ontario for Turkeys!

Someone posted a good link on the previous page of this thread.

I'm heading out to buy a decoy and get a new bow string. If I can get one bird with the 870, I'll try the second with the bow. :D
