Why all the hate with 6.5 Creedmoor

Just barreled up another 6.5 Creed. It’s # 7 in my pile of 6.5 Creedmoor rifles. Not that I don’t have rifles chambered about every other 6.5/264 cartridge worth having. The Creedmoor is the Easy Button when it comes to shooting, don’t even need to reload to have excellent ammo, that’s where it really shines.

Is the 284 worth the effort compared to a 7mag?

A 7 mm REM Mag outperforms a 284 Win easily but with more recoil just as a 284 Win outperforms a 7-08 rem but with more recoil etc etc as you KNOW !

I just really like the 284 Win cartridge and the 6.5 x 284 too ! There KOOL ! JMO. RJ

This made my day. 140's are my favourite weight in .277 bullets.

But you lose some BC to the 264 from that 277 shooting 140's, you can easily shoot 150's the same speed in your 270 lol.
Not like it matters to game, but man, it's a big deal on here.

I understand the CM pretty well. It’s worked great for me on elk, moose and multiple deer. The only thing I fear about it, is it’s lack of similar juju on Bighorns…
