Why go 7 SAUM over 7mm08

That sounds nice Dan, how much does it weigh? If memory serves me correctly, I was getting 2900 fps with 54 grains of RL17 and 154 gr hornady btsp bullets from a 20" barrel. It's been a few years since I've hunted with it however next season it will be coming out.

Guys, something inside me, an i hate it when this happens.... is telling me (yelling at me) to look down the 7SAUM route in a Model 7 rifle...............

Now, i already own a Kimber 7mm08 , its light an its awesome,

ive come to ask the techxperts their opinion on why one would go the 7saum over the 7mm08?

Im liking the 7saum in a 22 inch barrel, the model 7 should be fairly light..........


have had a 7 Rem mag before an didnt like it, i only shoot to 400 and 500 maximum ever. was doin gongs and trying 400m shots but figured the 708 could do the same sorta thing at that distance with a few more clicks.


so let me hear it!
