I am posting this & these pics for long bow.

This is the reason he had to bail from the rundowns at the BCRA Service Rifle match.

He will be along later to make his own comments.

Thx. SKBY.

Robert...only a Downhomer would see the febreeze...good observation skills. Non of us on the "left coast" have smelly feet, ask your women...
Thanks again SkBy...great job .
This is just to show you feller's that with the way I was shootin that day, it wouldnt have been as easy for you to win had I been able to do the run downs. At least I was lucky enough to win pistol(only one little rundown)..hurts like a ##### still...2 fractures, and in two days, major infection...celulitis and strep A(nasty) I have to go for IV anti-biotics every 12 hours till it breaks...
Still, a good time was had by all, and there was some fine shooting, congrats to those who attended....

I just got smelly feet do to foot rot. Also I dont wear socks often.
I use frebreze alot .

How did that happen?

Sorry.I should have explained..I had two fractures, and while doing the rundown for the SVC pistol, really screwed em up...I had made my mind up that I wouldnt rundown the next day for rifle...Well, I sharted with a 50-6V and a couple 48's so couldnt leave the 100 standing alone...Well, I now know...ya'll know about hindsight....I shouldn't have even been on the range. Walking on the uneven ground all day just made it worse, and I really hurt myself....now I pay the price..

The original injury was a long time ago(Army)...the fractures were from work(current TAC member), and I guess a little age and too heavy thrown in...the weakened ankle just gave out...

#### dude that sucks! know how you feel though, I've had some nasty infections from the farm (keep your minds out of the gutter boys), from cuts from skinning. The trips every 8 or 12 hours to the hospital for injections bites. But combined with fractures you're definitely the leader for nastiness. Can we get you a trophy for that?

Good Lord  , you could spread that on a triscuit, a bit of cheese in the microwave...mmmm, it was nice having you there anyway Bossman, there were younger and healthier fellows who didn't show up for no other reason than fear or apathy.

I think you should go to a day spa and get a pedicure while your foot is like that. Lets see how good those girls really are.

I could be wrong but I think that you should take it easy on that foot at the next shoot... I think that we should give you a head start on the run downs ;) But seriously, take care of that thing

Boys..thanks for the good wishes, and comments. I'd like to think the drive came from my time with the infantry....But if this is the result from driving the body.....is it worth it...well, in war time yes of course...but to prove a point...naw...now as a result of this, I dont what all I'll miss. Im just back from another 2 1/2 hours of IV's..and frankly I dont see much difference after a week of this ####. I'm almost at the stage of getting worried..but not quite there yet..close though. Off to Vancouver to see the specialist on wed. Slavex..if you think Id go to a spa for nails..lol..Right now I can think of something else that needs looking after. Which reminds me of a story....there was this RCR and PPCLI soldier walking along a woodline...they came apon a fence and found a sheep with its head stuck in it...The RCR smiles and says in his best Slavex voice"I'm gonna get me some of that"..
The Patricia was all aghast as the RCR soldier had his way with the sheep....When the RCR had finished, he turned to his Patricia friend and said"ok buddy, now it's your turn"...to which the Patricia dropped his combats and promply stuck his head in the fence....

hahahaha my aching ribs...must be the meds.....

oooooh burn! hahahahaha

on a more serious note, what caused the open wound? during the fracture did it pierce the skin or as it went septic did it work it's way to the surface?
I understand BG is pretty ####ed up right now too, maybe it's the ####e working conditions you guys have that contributes to the infections?

Slavex......yes BG has the same thing I do..except he's running a week behind...We even have the same vet in Vancouver. The open wound came from the use of Prednazone...which I was taking for a bad gas burn to the chest.. The stuff is magic, as it does fix things..its the side effects that kill ya.

not like you need any advice from us, but take it easy man, you don't need it to get any worse!
