Why is your SKS is worth SO much??

If you've added a tapco stock, you can add the retail price of the SKS and the retail price of the stock, include a 20% margin for gross profit, then charge applicable tax for the materials and labour for the price on EEcou:

So that's how the EE works :)

Local store here is selling Russian for $249 and Chinese for $179. I got my mint Russian Laminated from a store for $199. The $75 sks is one you have to purchase with a crate of ammo, therefore it's not a "$75 sks".

People can ask whatever they want, doesn't mean they'll get it. Not sure why someone would rather buy on the EE when you can get a beautiful Russian refurb from a store for $199... just to save the taxes? Maybe you'll get one that was never cleaned for $150. Sounds like the OP wants a "great deal on a cheap rifle". How much will you save on a $170-200 rifle anyway... At these prices, the savings are minimal.

Cheapest good rifle you can buy... so stop whining over a couple bucks.

I've been noticing all the above complaints about the EE, I bought my last pistol on there for a fair price (I think) but it really bothers me to see so much greed in our community.

People want to get their investments back, but people looking for a "great deal" on a cheap rifle won't find much of a savings when you factor in shipping. This is a non-issue.

I have to say that there are good deals and fair deals on the EE, you just have to wait for them to pop up...so far I've had great experiences both buying and selling

Many guys selling their motorcycles are like that too. It's scary that many people are stupid enough to go for it. Close to retail for a 5yrold bike lol

But that's how it goes in the GTA. Most guys buy sports bikes to pick up chicks, and then when they realize that the financing is too high, insurance is too high, and they end up going home and wacking off, they sell it by end of the season. and try to get every penny. You see that with so many R1's and R6's. Guys will try to charge you for the amount of insurance they paid..

Always good deals on the EE. Seller can ask the moon and the stars, you counter offer and maybe he will come back to earth. Seriously, what kind of discount or markup will you find on a $170-200 rifle? The difference is minimal.

SKS is as plentiful as the maple tree. I try to handpick the nicest one for the going rate... I'm sure you can find a rusty POS for cheap, if that is what the OP wants.

I'm not looking to buy, I already have a SKS if you read the thread you'll see that this is a responce to some prices of similar rifles posted in the EE.

The grade of any particular SKS varies greatly. I ordered 3 from a dealer for $200 a piece plus combined shipping and they were crap. Chromed bayos were made a requirement in writing and on the phone. None were chromed. I have bought two since on thr EE. One for $230 and one for $250 and am very happy with both of them.

Stop ranting then, no issue here. There are different grades of SKS rifles, not sure what your point is. Useless thread. Why don't you reply to their ads and complain to them instead of making a thread about it. I think there are about 300 threads stating the same thing as you are...

$200 rifle at the store, on the EE, $230 shipped, "Oh my God"!!! Get over it. I've always bought mine at the store. Buying an SKS is a crap shoot, you might get a nice one or a crappy one. Nice ones go for more than a crappy one.

HAHAHA I like this guy! Hey I got a deal for you, wanna buy my SKS $300 shipped its a "nice one" and ill throw in some used stripper clips HAHAHA you'll save on tax HAHAHA also you don't have to go through the arduous task cleaning out the cosmoline thats worth $50 right there HAHAHA Its a deal, its a steal, its the sale of the f*&$ing century!! HAHAHA

There's another thread in Rimfire about where you can get a 10/22 that's less than $1,000.

If you go to Subway, order a sandwich to your liking, take a bite or two out of it, wander down the street yelling "Sandwich for sale," then expect to charge what you paid, you may have some flaws in your business plan.

Or go to CanAm and pay $225.00 shipped for a new chrome lined SKS with a warranty.
Be sure to complain if he doesn't ship same day though

Why people want the russian ones other than for collector reasons is beyond me. You're shooting corrosive ammo, get a chrome lined chinese version. It's not like the Russian ones are more accurate.
