It's just a AR mag wall made by HK
Simplely swap the g36 mag wall back then it take G36 mags again
Lol
there are two models listed, how do you know what model is pictured in the article?Problems with stanag mags aside...the prototype versions, which are of German production and not American, have been submitted with the HK stanag magwell,
I'm with you on that, I hope that is the optional front end and that it comes std without railed frontIt looks great but does it really need 40 inches of rail?

If HK USA was it's own company then the above would be true, but since it is a German company with a facility in the USA, it still has to follow german law as to what it produces in the US or there would already be real G36's, MP5's etc available for civilian sales from the US plant to the entire world. The US version is to be produced, for the most part, and assembled in the HK USA factory, from what I have read, and as such, does not have to be submitted for German approval as it is not being exported from their country.
There were 10 of each G36's including the K and C models plus 10 UMPs each 9mm and 40 S&W. They were imported on a permit for theatrical use which was then used to sell them people. I owned one of each. A few years ago i contacted HK about buying some parts. They were less than helpful. The civilian model will. It accept the trigger groups for the military/LE models.

I believe you are totally right. I was asked if I was interested in importing some on my theatrical license. Not wanting to piss off HK and possibly get black balled I refused.
Did you or anyone actually ask the guys in the booth? did they confirm or deny what people are already posting about the new models?Shot show open today.
Looks likely HK has disappointed us again
Not a single word for the civilan G36 at all lol
