Save your pennies and buy an Anschutz. You'll never regret it.
You're doing just fine, no need to go to a $2k+ rifle this week![]()
I may look up some results, but in short, this rifle is not worth your time.. unless you get someone to rechamber it... or replace the barrel altogether. the stock and action are ok otherwise.. another issue is the 10 round mag limit. I've had quite a few rifles after this one... and never have I thought that I need to get back to this oneHas a SINGLE owner of these anywhere posted actual photos of their down-range results?
Stick with the Tikka. I have 2 T1x. Both shoot lights out. Ruger's QC is hit and miss right now... mostly miss.what ammo though? I really like the look of these, but it's hard to deviate from my T1x that shoots a SD of 5fps and can hit under 0.3" at 50y with SK+....
When I built my rifle, I did it on a 455, I would do the same today. Not that the 457 has some nice features, it does, but the care and workmanship given the 455 at the factory seems to be a bit higher standard that present production. Same barrels work, and just as customizable.Great point about the barrels. Thats one reason I was looking at a CZ457.
50 or 100 ? I'll have to dig up some old targets if I have or go print anotherThis was shot with ruger LRT.
It was 50yd.50 or 100 ? I'll have to dig up some old targets if I have or go print another
I'd put the LRT up against a Savage MkII
there you goIn all fairness, I was just starting my shooting path, today I would definitely do better.........,
I would do better, but if I shot this ruger LRT vs even the most basic CZ457, CZ would shoot better.. so the question is why bother and waste time and $$there you go
One mans waste is another mans pleasureso the question is why bother and waste time and $$
