People bought 457s?
People sell in fall when the economy sucks, especially when Christmas is coming. Buy again in the spring. Also, many were replaced by 457.
452 are wicked guns.
That would be my guess as well . The economy is getting tight again , and the CERB money has run out . Combine that with not much use for a 22 over the colder winter months ; and up for sale they go .
Rather have a few I love/use.
I think the 457s are handsome guns for sure, and tempting, but with so many interests and guns I want to try...having a bunch of dust collectors makes less sense the older I get.
Same here, it seems like I'm always reaching for the same few rifles... A while back the wife was teasing me that I was either getting old or getting reasonable.
- We stopped at a sporting good store with a "gun" section, they had a newer T-Bolt in 22lr for a reasonable price... Wife: you didn't buy it? Me: No, what would I use it for? I already have ### that I like and serve the same fonction...
As for the bunch of CZ452... I think it goes in waves
- One guy sees a rifle sell for $$$
- Guy realize that he has one he's not using... and could use the $$ for something else...
Maybe people buy a couple variations and keep the one they like best. I like my 455 Lux very well except for the 90 degree bolt lift. I would like to try a 452 varmint some day. CZ rimfires are a great way to challenge yourself with accuracy, ammo is cheap and I'm guessing most CZ are capable of under 3/4" at 50 yards with a few different types of ammo (and possibly under 1/2" with their favorite ammo). I would not be scared to get a CZ if you are thinking about it.
