I sent my binos in 2 years ago and stopped buying Nikon since. Nice product but you have to watch yourself with the warranty. BTW there is a significant difference in warranty service between Nikon Canada and USA, USA is much better but won't do warranty work for Canadians (I tried after Nikon Canada denied service to me) Leupold and Bushnell will fix anything you send to them under their warranties regardless if you damage the scope while using it. Nikon can deny you service based on the underlined criteria (which they did in my case besides the fact that I didn't have the receipt anymore). Like I said worst warranty in the business. Which is unfortunate as I do like the look and functionality of their optics but like I mentioned earlier every major manufacturer I bought optics from had at least one failure and when you are spending min 4-500+ on optics it is nice to know that the manufacturer will take care of you when it goes down... Bushnell will even take care of you if you buy a crappy 1-200 dollar scope where it almost isn't worth the cost of shipping to get it repaired. Something to consider.
