I am going to get beat up by the cool kids again, but who cares - if I had high cap mags I would be chained to the damned reloading press. Guns that gobble 40 rounds of ammo at a crack are not for me.

See, that's what I mean. Our draconian laws don't even let me have the freedom of being able to be a slave to the brass. If I wanted to blow $1000 in ammo in one outing it could take me all afternoon.

I want the freedom to do dumb things like have 48 round AR mags!
 
If the government trusts me enough to hand over millions and millions of dollars in taxes for my lifetime they should be able to trust me with a high cap mag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, I go to the range to shoot not to change mags every 5 rounds.
 
I agree. The only limit on the mag capacities should be yourself, whether you want to stuff that mag right to the top or just put in a few for some spur-of-the-moment varminting.
 
I really dislike the mag limits, but it is a supreme piss off that clip fed weapons like an SKS are also limited to 5 rounds. I mean, you have this giant stripper clip, or two littles ones, it takes forever to reload it, so what is the harm?

Mag extension: Gives it a a little "je ne sais pas" but I don't mind it... and kinda like it.
 
I really don't want any high capacity magazines at all, really I don't. I would just like some NORMAL regular capacity AR magazines which come from the various factories in 10, 20, 30 round options (some a little more). I don't need anything high capacity, just the ones that are normal 30 or even 20 rounders.

I guess you are technically the most correct one on the board. I too, wish to have a standard capacity magazine.
