Why We Need Full Cap. AR Mags....

If the government trusts me enough to hand over millions and millions of dollars in taxes for my lifetime they should be able to trust me with a high cap mag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, I go to the range to shoot not to change mags every 5 rounds.

Dude - get over it. That's not a reflection on trust, but more of a milking fee! LOL (BTW - I'm right beside you in the barn).

Standard cap magazines would be loverly. Especially considering the complete catasrophic stupidity of that law. It prevents nothing. It stops nothing. The only people who obey it as usual are the law abiding. Le sigh. Meaningless crap.

Really makes me appreciate the LAR10 mags though. :)

That would be roughly $25 worth of ammo per each full magazine. A guy could certainly shoot through a fair chunk of money in a short period of time.

Cobra mags from Tripp research makes 42 and 52 rounders with no problem feeding! Would like to try them! no need for an extension!

119 bucks a pop though!!

Beat the mag limits and go Belt Fed....no mag limits on WWII and earlier semi auto beltfeds. This is just a poser pick with the wife. It's not actually mounted to the Rhino. But it's great to know 250rnd cloth belts are Legal and work wonders on the gopher patch!!!:50cal::evil:

There's even conversion kits to make shorties. This is a 30-06 1919A4 from Marstar.

:agree:

<---

Since we are talking ARs here a belt fed upper in 7.62x39mm that uses RPD belts would be a AWESOME idea. The RPD was developed in 1944...

This is why I shoot my rimfires more than my AR's, or any centerfire semi. I like going BANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANG change mag not BANGBANGBANGBANGBANG change mag BANGBANGBANGBANGBANG change mag.
With my SKS it's even stupider. Why do I need a ten round capacity internal box mag pinned to five rounds? Do they really expect gangbangers driving around downtown with their SKS' going "Hey, gimme anudda strippa clip, I gotta reload ma shizzle kizzle shizzle, biatch."

Ahhh, I love it when someone thinks outside the box - mag that is!

Ba-dump-bump - ping!

I like how somebody pointed out we should call them standard capacity mags.. the gov't has got us to the point of feeling like we don't deserve "high capacity" mags. :bangHead:

They hold their rifles weird. It looks like it works for them though.

That method, acts as a fulcrum of sorts and offsets what little recoil is left (the brake is very effective), keeping the rifle on target for faster follow up shots in competition.

HAH! I love it! That is cool and shows not only a sense of humour bur inventivness(?)
I feel that if I can be trained to operate 90,000 pounds of moving equipment at speeds approaching 75 MPH (Nevada) that I can be trained to handle loading and shooting the full magazine the firearm came with. I bought the firearm, paid my membership, purchased my ammunition, hung my targets. If properly trained, buggeroff with the restriction on my capacities. I passed the Firearms Inquisition and got the "Permission" card to buy and own firearms; but cannot be trusted with full capacity mags! Find me a criminal that doesn't remove the pin on his/her mag prior to commiting a crime. Let's QUIT punishing the law abider and START punishing the law breaker.
I know, I know. RANT...Rant...Rant!
