I reviewed this gun quite a bit before i bought one. I figured the only problem it would have would be the "light primer strikes" and seemed to be a easy fix. Boy was i wrong! After 6 weeks, 5000+ rounds and every modification to resolve the light primer strike this is what happened:

During one of my failures to eject, the casing got lodged between the chamber and the bolt carrier group. A piece of the bolt carrier group broke off and lodged between the bolt and the receiver. Thus making this already Piece of sh*t riffle even sh*ttier..........

I spent $650 and bought 3 mags for $50 a pop... And ya it was a fun gun to shoot but it would rarely get through an entire mag (22rounds) without having a light primer strike, faitlure to feed or failure to eject.... And yes Rick911, still a piece of f*uckn garbage.

I should have got a ruger 10/22!

could someone let me know if those photo's i posted worked??????? please and thanks

Hi,

Photos worked. I learned with the Sig Mosquito that .22's that 'look' like centrefire guns often have problems and aren't worth the time and frustration.....Ruger 10/22 'shells' are an exception.

Thanks for the post. I was debating before of odering one of these, the ugly butstock kept turnig me aswell, not to mention the 'iffy' reviews. Think I'll jus stay away at this point ;)

ya know gundoggy i was gonna get that sig as well, glad i didn't......im sticking with old ass guns that work. just bought an xcr-l which is the exception. but i also got me a RUSSIAN SKS! man oh man does that old ass rifle rock!!!!!!

I think there ###y as all hell, and that was the problem. Like a high classy hooker, was fun for a while but broke my heart and took all me money!

once again, should have bought a ruger 10/22

That's unfortunate, I'm sorry you're having such issues, and I hope ISSC can help you out. After doing a couple of mods, I have mine running flawlessly, with no issues whatsoever. Post up the exact mods you did, and what ammo you're using and maybe we can help out.

Sorry to hear you're having problems with it, but it's even worse that the factory response is so hopeless. You shouldn't have to, but you may end up having to order the part yourself to get it running again. That is seriously bad service - which is to be expected from, say Norinco, but not from an expensive Austrian gun manufacturer! As it happens, parts for Norincos are easy to get! I imagine that parts for ISSC, not so much...

What dealer did you get it through?

These guns are as tempting as the sirens of the sea. They look oh so ###y, and promise oh so much. But like the sirens, they only appear to deliver misery.

Part of the problem and their appeal, is no doubt, the limited choices we have up here in Kanuckistan, with regard to ###y black rifles...especially of the NR variety...and so rimfires such as this have to do.

I shot every type of 22lr thu her and she seemed to favour anything federal, value pack was the best next to american eagle. I did the washer between the bcg and the bolt stop and switched out the mk12 screw with a mk14. none of this helped. then it took a shAt on my heart when the bcg had a piece break off.

and yes its garbage, just a ###y paper weight.....................
