Wicked deals on VZ 58's at Wild West!

I don't know but I'll take a stab at it. Invoices are not always included in packages so we may not have gotten it until a week later? Distributors usually don't notify us on price increases, they just ship and bill.

That place is an overpriced joke.

its trying to stay alive in WEM

it has a lot of neat toys instock all the time... I've had lot of searches for guns that finally ended at WW were the price was $100 more... but hey $100 now, or wait 9 months for the back orders to come in somewhere else, take your pick.

you got to pay a premium...

Thanks LEP! We actually do a lot of online sales (more than you can imagine) and of course the only way you can sell a product online, is to have the lowest price.

Our web guys are off site and are not gun people so sometimes things get mixed up. Overall, they do a great job and we should have a new site up before the end of the year making it even easier to browse and order online.

How does your cost go up $70 on stock that is already on the shelf?

Did you retroactively send more money to your supplier?

The updated price was simply input into the wrong box on the backend of our website when
adjusting the product. Simple clerical error. Our price went up on the stock that was shipped to us, we don't
adjust our prices on product we didn't pay more for.

We would love to charge the old price but every week the cost of business goes up as our dollar continues to
take a dive. We try to absorb as much of this but at some point it has to be passed on to the customer as well.

I still ended up buying an Eotech+magnifier from them that day, no it wasnt cheap, but who else in edmonton had one.. Nobody.
I know they need to make money to operate, but some items confuse me, like at their range they do not allow you to shoot your own ammo, you must buy theirs, and telling customers its just too unsafe to allow them to bring their own ammo... Really?! Did I just hear that from staff, telling a restricted gun owner which wanted to use the range, while i was paying my $1400.00
Sooo his american eagle ammo is too unsafe, but your wickedly priced reloads are just fine.

To tell you the truth, one time many years ago when i took a date there, you guys gave me a box of ammo, labeled 9mm luger, but it was a mixed box of 9mm Luger and 9mm Markov. Which you guys reloaded clearly. When i came across the first Markov, it annihilated the brass and some bits of it actually flew straight back at me. True story. And no, i never got more ammo or a refund.

I've never been impressed with Wild West's prices, or the tacticool guns they sell. Want an SKS? All you're gonna see are mall-ninja'd ones stuck in Archangel stocks with a ridiculous $600-$900 price tag. No matter how much you put into an SKS it's still gonna shoot like an SKS.

Hihi962, you mean 9mm Makarov? We have never had that reloaded for range use and have never used it on the range. Of course it's impossible to trace anything that you say is many years ago, not sure what you expect us to do.

Using our ammo has nothing to do with safety, but I'm sure other people will be interested so I'll address it in a new thread.

That poor Russian badger probably seen Putin with his shirt off....that would scare anybody....

That's a European badger, not a North American one. Related but VERY different temperments. NA badgers and the ornery ones that sometimes partner up with coyotes to hunt. European badgers are less agressive, more like big hamsters.

went there once to try some range guns, in particular the sig 226 i was interested in. Was told they had a range gun 226 i could try and it was a 30 mins wait. said no problem and paid. when my name was called they passed me a glock. i said i was waiting for the 226. they said they didnt have one either take this one and shoot it or get out. won't be back.

That place confuses me. They are obviously overpriced on virtually everything, yet I picked up a Benelli M4 there for $1900. That was when most other places had them listed above $2100.
