Wild West Guns
I just recently purchased a Remington 1100 synthetic from Wild West guns. Before I put my order through I called them to ask a few question to verify any concerns I had, internet description was fair. I confirmed barrel length, color, synthetic or wood, gauge, and if it was new stock. All was answered as yup and new on display.
I made my purchase and awaited it in the mail. When I received my package and hurried home as most would. I open package and thought to myself this seems old. Cardboard was rough and discolored. Upon further inspection there was no owners manual or choke tube wrench. Manual is not a big issue because you can download of the internet. I had this gut feeling that this was not a brand new gun. I called Remington and asked if they could check the serial number and verify the firearm. They told me it was made in 1997. I wouldn't have cared if it was a couple years old but fifteen + years old and that information was not disclosed to the consumer. I have tried to contact Wild West Guns with no luck, they are not replying to my emails, or phone calls. I just wanted to see if any one else had any similar issues with them and I wanted to vent.
