I've been lucky observing semi-albinos creatures since a while, but pics were taken in a rush, through an old double glass window...

Hummingbird

And a female malard

I got this dragonfly flying around and found out they were two... but not for long, since one ate the other....

Some more;

Two-barred Crossbill

And some forest eaters;

Stictoleptura canadensis (Long-horn beetle)

Monochamus notatus (Northeastern Sawyer)

Monochamus scutellatus (White-spotted sawyer )

I realize that there oughtta be nine pins and those should all be stacked together but this would suit just fine :D.

Very nice images in this thread. Being able to observe wild life in it's own elements is as much (IMO, even more) enjoyable than the actual bag.

Took these today! Wish I could afford a decent DSLR... sadly all I've got is a little point and shoot....

Peek-a-boo! I see you!

Came upon this bear eating something on the side of the road while out for a walk! He actually started walking TOWARDS me and was close enough that I could have thrown my camera and hit him on the nose! Finally after it got a look at me it went back to eating and walking for about 10 minutes and then slowly walked off the road. Once it did that I took off!

Need a change of shorts after that encounter, I know I would.

Ive been around bears before and at first I wasn't too worried (unless it was a momma bear), generally I only get a chance for one maybe two pictures as they run away. I got REALLY nervous when this one kept walking towards me even though I was yelling at it while taking pictures (the reason some are slightly out of focus). But once the bear got a good look at me it turn around and went back to eating. It wasn't scared at all. I didn't have any sort of firearm on me, not even a knife. All I could do was snap pictures. Figured at least that way someone would know what happened to me if they found my camera. :D
