Will any dealers import Para TTR?

Too bad Para's gone stateside, that means no more Canadian marked and made pistols or now rifles. The way I heard it when Ted died his daughter took over and moved to the states to focus on US sales. Can't really blame her but it was cool and convenient having them close by in Scarborough. I would consider buying a TTR if available in Canada but I don't see it happening; but you never know.

The original ZM weapon, which Para recycles, has problem with the recoil spring losing temper as the gas key heats up.

It is not a piston system - it is a direct impingment system like regular AR15, with a very long gas key that fits over the gas tube.

It did not take off in the 90's, and I see no reason it will take off in 2010 when HK556 and LWRCI are around.

Todd Jarrett doesn't seem to have any problem taking names and kicking a$$ with his.

So I suppose it's a "no-go" for the Para TTR? I remember reading about it in a magazine a ways back and thought it'd be an interesting AR variant to own. So did Para USA really pull out of Canada?

After being the not-so-proud owner of a para product, I would not recommend buying anything with para on it. Product support is absolutely horrible. They don't give a darn about their Canadian market!

If you like the AR platform and want a folding stock then another option is the new Rock River Arms PDS...

We have the "Pistol" version here now... we hope to have the "Rifles" here soon.

The folding stock and flash suppressor kills it for export out of the USA...

It is true that collapsible stocks and flashiders complicate exportation significantly. Some exporters will refuse to even apply for permits on such rifles. It is a significant factor limiting accessibilty of many black rifles and uppers in Canada.

Mark, will you be getting the folding stocks for the ''pistol" version? Also can you get the quad rail for the pistol version? Thanks!

We expect to get them but no idea when at this point. The rails were only "announced" at the SHOT Show and they are not yet selling the folding stocks on their own so we don't even have a part # yet to place orders for them... but RRA did confirm they would make them available to us in the "near future".
