Just picked up a '68 tope eject 30-30 and it shoots great, looks like very little use. Only issue we see is that the ejector seems really stiff. So stiff in fact that it deeply scores the shells with groves. You have to really squeeze the lever to get the ejector over the casing. I took the gun apart and gave it a good cleaning but I didn't dismantle the bolt. Anyone know if this is just a "needs to be shot" type issue or is there something that can be done?
