Just picked up a '68 tope eject 30-30 and it shoots great, looks like very little use. Only issue we see is that the ejector seems really stiff. So stiff in fact that it deeply scores the shells with groves. You have to really squeeze the lever to get the ejector over the casing. I took the gun apart and gave it a good cleaning but I didn't dismantle the bolt. Anyone know if this is just a "needs to be shot" type issue or is there something that can be done?

First off the 95 Winchester was never chambered in 30-30 and secondly the little gadget that clips over the rim is called the extractor not the ejector............

It would seem as though the extractor is frozen, quite likely rust or oil gunge, the bolt and extractor need to be removed and cleaned. The extractor on a Winchester model 94 should clip over very easily.
