I have a Winchester 1200 which may be behaving oddly. I do not know enough about the action to say for sure.
When I shoot it, without anything touching the forearm, the slide will be sent all of the way back after the shot. This seams odd to me, and was pointed out to me by a bystander at the range today. It seams to me that the bolt should remain locked until the pump is manually cycled.
Is something broken on the gun, or is this intended?
